In contrast with the current setting, we often see people wearing heels because of gender, not because of social standing.

Nowadays, the majority of the community symbolized shoes as something that shows wealth and success. There was a study conducted to prove that some women did argue about this matter. Ouch! Can you imagine the pain that people have to go through before this brilliant modification? Back in the day, shoes were made identical, which means the left and right look the same! 4. Jimmy Choo constructed his first pair of shoes at the age of 11!
No wonder he is one of the shoe geniuses! Jimmy Choo was surrounded by shoes when he was growing up because his father was a shoe cobbler. He then shows interest in shoes and actually studied to improve his craft toward shoes. He successfully opened his first store in 1986. Whew! What an inspiration!

There is a part in our brain, the prefrontal cortex, also known as the collector’s spot, triggered whenever we see a shoe that we like! 8. ‘Havaianas’ got their inspiration from a Japanese sandal.

If you look closely at the sole of Havaianas, it has a rice textured pattern on its surface. It was somehow inspired by the ‘Zorii’, which is originally is traditional Japanese sandals made out of rice straw soles and fabric straps. No wonder their sandals seem familiar, right?
9. The famous international singer, Celine Dion, has over 10,000 pairs of shoes!
Who didn’t know the famous all-time favorite song entitled “Titanic”? No one! This well-known singer just confessed that she is a shoe addict! Celine Dion once admits in her interview session with Ellen DeGeneres, back in 2013, that she owned over 3,000 pairs of shoes in her closet! Surprisingly, just 4 years after the interview session, she claimed to have tripled the amount of her 2013 shoe collection. 10. This is the largest shoe in the world!
Ladies and gentlemen, you have just witnessed the largest and longest pair of shoes in this universe! Wow! This masterpiece was found in Marikina City, Philippines which now has become the shoe capital of the country. This largest shoe is said to have 5.5 meters long and 2.25 meters wide. Amazing! This shoe cost around $2 Million to actually build this shoe. I bet even Cinderella can’t fit in this pair of gigantic shoes!
