The Top 5 Malaysia’s Shoe Brands for Women

Do you know what women need the most?

Food, water, and compliments. And occasionally, a new pair of shoes.

That was said by Chris Rock, but we are not about to deny that aren’t we? Good shoes and outfits would elevate anyone’s mood and brighten their days. And which better way to do that than by donning a pair of shoes made by our own local Malaysian brands? Today we have 5 local brands that are undeniably at the top of Malaysia’s shoe scene.

1. MADRE

MADRE, which is Spanish for the mother, was established with the dream to produce female shoes with an entire focus on their beauty and comfort. Since 2013, Madre is garnering more attention from Malaysian women and even those in Brunei and Singapore.

The reason why the founders fixated on the idea of ‘mother’ was because of their mother, the inspirations and driving force behind everything.

Based in Cyberjaya, Selangor. Madre, as of today, has garnered almost 500 000 fans on Facebook and more than 130 000 followers on Instagram. Madre also caught the attention of a few news outlets in Malaysia and was featured in RTM’s shows, Selamat Pagi Malaysia, Biz Malaysia, Do-It, Fresh Brew, Jelita, even in the newspapers Kosmo, and Utusan.

And as an ever-expanding company, Madre hopes to be one of the biggest names in Malaysia’s fashion industry in a few years.
